Service to others is an integral part of the St. Francis community. Here are just a few of the upcoming ways you can be part of the outreach at St. Francis.
BLOOD DRIVES
We have blood drives 3 times a year at St. Francis. The Blood Mobile comes on designated Sundays from 8:00am to Noon. May 16 is our next blood drive. For 2010 we will have 2 more drives: August 15 & November 14. For more information please contact Irma Tragesser.
Donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good general health and present photo ID prior to donating. Donors who are 16 years old must have written parental/guardian permission on an approved Indiana Blood Center form.
KIDS AGAINST HUNGER
Kids Against Hunger is an international relief effort that provides nutritionally balanced, shelf-stable, bagged meals for use around the world. St. Francis has a standing reservation to work bagging meals every 3rd Saturday of the month from 10-Noon. If you would like to help out, there will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex the previous Sunday, or you can call the church office at (317) 873-4377 or email our church administrator at lhiggins@stfranciszville.org to sign up or for more information!
